Lloyd was joined on the lengthy scoresheet by two-goal pair Ed Lloyd and Alex Jones, while Luke Wilson and Jac Robins also found the net to finalise an exceptional day at the office for Hawarden.

The hosts started the better side and broke the deadlock on eight minutes when Ed latched onto a Rhys Roberts corner and struck a neat volley into the bottom right corner of the goal.

Six minutes later and the Blues doubled their lead when Lloyd grabbed the first of his three strikes.

On twenty-eight minutes Lloyd popped up with his second of the game to conclude Rangers’ commanding first period display.

In the second half, things got from bad to worse for the Wrexham Youth League visitors as Hawarden broadened the scoreline via Luke Wilson and a third goal from Lloyd Jones inside just ten minutes of the restart.

Alex and Ed both completed their braces around the fiftieth minute mark, while substitute Jac Robins notched the final goal of the game to see through a solid home team performance.

The scoreline could have well been greater had Rangers’ composure in front of goal been more prolific, the likes of Alex Jones and Ed Lloyd missing out on picking up hat-tricks due to numerous bungled opportunities.
